type='text'>

Audrey has been very sick, it's got me worried. she got her leg tangled a few months ago in her dog's lead, and it tore apart her ankle. she ended up almost a week in the hospital with a horrendous infection, i had to rent a car and go out and take care of her for a week, i missed work and almost lost my job. i wish i'd gotten fired, i would be taking care of her right now.

the accident couldn't have come at a worse time. her immune system was weak from chemo and the incredible heat of twentynine palms in july was nearly unbearable. she hadn't been taking care of her bones either, she had been so empowered by her recovery using quantum healing ( http://mindswell.org/organichealing.htm ) that she thought she could go back to soda, which has always been one of her weaknesses. she also ran out of calcium supplements and didn't get more. the newfound flood of phosphoric acid, combined with a lack of calcium, weakened her bones, and after the accident lowered her immune system, her bones began to show signs of cancer... a few spots have shown up on her bonescan, and she's in a horrible amount of pain, which leads her to lean heavily on her pain medication, which makes her vomit violently. she throws up all day long.

her doctor won't give his legally necessary endorsment for her to get the cannabis which helps ease her nausea and actually makes her hungry. the nausea medicine he preseribes her makes her jittery and won't let her risk their professional practices to recommend a plant that has been used to heal for thousands of years.
<span style="font-family:trebuchet years, even though before cannabis projibition, it healed millions of people over thousands of years. but, it's not legally patentable. why are health care costs skyrocketing? hmmm, pharmacuticle industry profits are skyrocketing as well, can you see the connection? and so much money spent on law enforcement to prohibit this beautiful plant, while there are supposedly more important wars we should be focused on. the war on patients is killing people, and all the television cares about is paris hilton.

i'm trapped here, 143 miles away from audrey without a car, with no way to get to her. it's breaking my heart. her kids can be more burden than help to her sometimes, her daughter keeps demanding rides into town, and her son seems to care more about television than helping his mother when she is sick. if i was there, cooking for her, caring for her, she would get better... but i live on modest means here in los angeles, especially after i had to quit my second job (long story), and i rely solely on 4 graveyard shifts a week at the hotel in hollywood where i currently work, while i furiously try to finish a presentable treatment of the screenplay audrey and i are writing about her life, so i can pitch it in hollywood and get enough money to buy a car and go take care of her.

i had a case of delicious spearmint mintwater (which she loves) and some gourmet brownies (which she'd been craving) sent to her this week. some great crystal jewlery as well... the internet does wonders for long distance relationships... but it's not enough. it's not the same as being there.

anyways, i've got to get back to work. i've never been good at keeping a journal, but i want to chip away at this blog thing. it's a way to circumvent shyness and open up... after all, it's just me and my keyboard, not like anyone reads these things...

A quick sidebar on Mel Gibson:

While I understand his frustration at Israeli aggression, the thought of such a devout CATHOLIC pointing fingers is rather preposterous. All the war, pain and destruction "The Church" has wrought over the years, all the distortions and manipulations of the savior they supposedly believe in... all in the name of power and control. So many wars, from the Crusades to silently sanctioning the Holocaust, and much carnage in between. So many priests convicted of molesting children while the church covered up their deeds. Over 200 accused priests in the Los Angeles area alone: http://www.lavoice.org/article1163.html

Perhaps Mel should look to fix his own house before criticizing others.

On the other side, it's embarrassing to see prominent Jews so eagerly rush to destroy his career over a drunken rant of silly, overblown ideas his father has been feeding him all his life. The fact that anything deemed "anti-Semetic" is forbidden speech is not only ludicrous but self-defeating! Insisting that non-jews are not ALLOWED to say certain things simply creates more anti-Semitism!

On a lighter note, click here to watch mel morph from "hunk to drunk": http://tinyurl.com/k7h6r

PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
`
As a Jew I must speak out against Israeli behavior.

After the Holocaust, Jews roundly proclaimed "never again!"
I was proud when I first heard the phrase: it signified a great lesson had been learned, we'd be forever vigilant against genocide. Then I learned about all the genocides since, from Cambodia to Rwanda to Bosnia... and I'm appalled at the silence which supported them, saddened to find "never again" only applies to genocide against Jews.

Now Israel talks openly of "eliminating" and "destroying" Hezbollah, which seems to be loosely defined as anyone in southern Lebanon without the ability to flee. Some Israeli soldiers explained their mission to a reporter:

"Over here, everybody is the army," one soldier said. "Everybody is Hezbollah. There's no kids, women, nothing." Another soldier put it plainly: "We're going to shoot anything we see." http://tinyurl.com/r3ncc

Of course, there's also the forgotton story of the southern front, all the bombs falling on Gaza... http://tinyurl.com/k28wn

Back to the northern front: why is U.N. Resolution 1559 [calling for Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah] so sacrosanct over the dozens of resolutions Israel has defied (or triggered by their actions) over the years? Teevee don't mention dem, but Wiki do: http://tinyurl.com/efdqh

How could Lebanon possibly be expected to disarm Hezbollah?

Israel occupied Lebanon for 18 years! Not only was the strongest military in the region unable to disarm Hezbollah, they fucking created Hezbollah! The original 1982 invasion - to rout the PLO - and subsequent 18 year occupation led directly to the formation of Hezbollah! When Israel could no longer maintain occupation, they tucktailed and ran from Lebanon with Hezbollah at their heels... and with the Lebanese people cheering. Seems many Lebanese didn't like living under Israeli occupation for nearly two decades, go figure.

So, the "Party of God" chased out the "Chosen People", and developed quite a following in the process. Israel doesn't take kindly to such humiliation, and now they've manipulated events to allow the wholesale destruction of much of Lebanon's infrastructure (and most structures), not to mention all the lives lost and a million refugees... all under the auspices of "eliminating Hezbollah".

How could this war have started - as the teevee keeps sayin`- with the abduction of the Israeli soldiers, when three days before the first soldier was abducted, seven members of a Palestinian family were killed by an Israeli airstrike while enjoying sunshine on a Gaza beach...

"Government spokesman Ghazi Hamad told the BBC that Friday's deaths had changed what he called "the rules of the game", and that Hamas suicide attacks could resume." http://tinyurl.com/n6olk

Video of a young girl who survived the airstrike - weeping over her family's dead bodies - was shone far and wide across the Arab world. It's pretty disturbing: http://tinyurl.com/pbj4z

That was the end of the fragile cease fire that'd been holding for a while! Again and again, Israel violates a truce, the "terrorists" respond, and all televisions refer to THE RESPONSE as the beginning of the conflict with nary a mention of the truth.

The bush crowd? They WANT armageddon! That's not conspiracy theory, that's their fucking worldview! That's the plan Stan. A wise man named Isaac, the first guy to ever tell me who karl rove was - warned me soon after bush took power that in the end, the administration would abandon Israel. Think about it, if you want to finish what hitler started, what better way than to have Jews all gather in one small space. Zionists never seemed to consider, even after the into-the-ghetto-then-off-to-slaughter scenario they'd just been through, that grouping together in one spot perhaps wasn't wise.

Why Jordan doesn't have to give up any land though is beyond me. It only seems fair, they've got more than half of the pie from the original split, shouldn't they have to cede some? Why is that never on the table? Shouldn't a monarchy have to give up some land for two democracies? The king and queen are supposedly so wise and just, so why don't they just help out and ensure both sides of the two state solution have enough land for their people. Then we could have peace, perhaps.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times Israel destroys Lebanon, the situation won't change. They can nuke Iran, but they cannot beat Hezbollah. Hezbollah is an idea, which is strengthened by every arrogant Israeli action. And its roots go way back...

A peculiar man named Abraham married his half-sister, Sarah.

"And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife."~ Genesis 20:12

For some reason (go figure) the siblings had a hard time conceiving a child. So, Sarah offered her handmaiden Hagar's womb to Abraham, and Hagar bore Abraham's first son, Ishmael. Then, as luck would have it, Sarah got pregnant afterall. From that point on, Sarah's son Isaac was favored. Jews are descended from him. Ishmael, on the other hand, was shunned...

"Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac."~ Genesis 21:10

Ishmael and his mother wandered the desert and nearly died of thirst, until they found a well near Mecca which is now one of the holiest sites in Islam. Muslims from around the world drink from it when they pilgrimage to Mecca, and it has yet to run dry. Mohammed is said to've been directly descended from Ishmael.

As for Abraham, a voice (attributed to God) in Abe's head told him to kill Isaac (although the Islamic version says it's Ishmael who was nearly murdered). The voice changed it's mind at the last moment, and Isaac (or Ishmael) was spared. What would you do if you witnessed Abraham almost kill his son based on a voice in his head?

The guy was crazy. The voice ended up deciding it would be a good idea to cut off part of all Jewish penises, and there was no last minute change of heart, unfortunately, on this one. It must've been one powerful voice, because my foreskin was sliced off thousands of years later. Not exactly fair. Neither is the stock justification: "Babies are so young, they won't even remember the pain." As if that degree of trauma to a newborn's penis leaves no scar on the psyche.

Anyways, Isaac married his cousin and they had 12 sons, the twelve tribes of Israel. "Laws" were instituted to assure intermarrying within the family. There was a reason for this - remember that one of the complaints of anti-Semites is that Jews will do anything for money - the reason marrying within the family was "commanded by God" was to keep inheritance within the family! Don't take my word for it, it's in the Torah:

Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of his fathers. No inheritance may pass from tribe to tribe, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits.' ~ Numbers 36:8-9

Fast forward a few millennia...

It's well known that the book which claims the land of Israel was promised to the Jews, was WRITTEN BY JEWS!!! Worldwide, few people - other than politicians, pro-Israeli Jews, and hard core Christians who believe the bible is the unquestionable word of god - actually believe Jews have some godgiven RIGHT to land they keep taking from people. Sure, it has been taken from them too, but they, well, started it. Land of Canaan? Ever wonder what the Hebrews did to the Canaanites to get their land? In a word: genocide. In fact, over and over through the torah, Jews committed genocide...

"The LORD said to Moses, 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you, with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.' So they struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army, leaving them no survivors. And they took possession of his land." ~ Numbers 21:34-35

Especially heinous is what the Israelites did to the Midianites at the behest of the God of Moses, according, of course, to what Moses SAID God told him [how very george bush of him]. The Midianites were a tribe the Hebrew hierarchy didn't approve of, the story goes that Hebrew males cavorted with Midianite women, and it seems Moses didn't like the usurping of his control, so...

"...they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males... And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, And they burnt all their cities..." ~ Numbers 31:1-11

But that wasn't enough for Moses. When the Hebrew army returned to base camp, Moses was mad at them for not killing the women and boys, so the order was given:

"'Have you allowed all the women to live?' he asked them. 'They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.'" ~ Numbers 31:15-18

Now, I wonder if the plague the Midianite women brought was metaphorical - perhaps they enticed the men to worship pagan goddesses and turn their back on the strictly enforced word of yahweh - or maybe it was literal, perhaps a venereal disease. In either case, it's a bit of an overreaction to massacre all the men, women and boys. Not to mention the idea of taking all the virgin girls as spoils of war. Hard to put down Muslims for a violent past when that's in your history.

Of course, when most Jews tell the story of the Jews, it's all about "The Long Storied Oppression of the Jews" and "Woe is The Plight of Us Poor Oppressed Hebrews". I've been hearing it all my life.

Turns out there's more to the story than Jews always being victims. And now - with one of the most heavily armed militaries in the history of the planet methodically destroying people who's most sophisticated weapons have practically no guidance systems and fall into open fields more often than not - for Jews to dare play poor oppressed victims is shameful!

I heard a Rabbi call into a radio show from Israel the other day. When asked how things were going, he said: "We're returning the fire." Really?!?!? Is that what's going on? Bullshit. This time the Jews are Goliath, and Hezbollah/Hamas are David. David doesn't have much of a chance on paper, but this shit's fo` real this time, this ain't bein` fought on paper. Nukes may very well fall one way or another before this is done.

The fact that so many Jews are ignorant of the root causes of anti-Semitism is a main cause of anti-Semitism! Just a bit of humility, just a touch of humbleness, some sense of responsibility once in a while would be nice. The Palestinians need a homeland. The Jews, who were relocated onto Palestinian land after the holocaust, MUST offer a fair deal to the Palestinians for the "two state solution" to actually work.

The process of working out a fair deal came pretty close to succeeding in the mid 1990's... until the Israeli prime minister, Yitzak Rabin, was assassinated in 1995. He was killed because he was trying to offer a fair deal... just like Abe Lincoln being killed before reconstruction. The hardliners didn't want to make a fair deal, so they had to eliminate the leader who was trying to do so. After Rabin's death, his successors repeatedly offered unfair deals, which they knew would never be accepted by the Palestinians. As for the United States in the late 1800's, well the 40 acres and a mule didn't exactly pan out, now did it? New president Andrew Johnson - senator from Tennessee, the only southern senator to not resign during the civil war - made damn sure the good ol` boys did pretty good for themselves in his version of reconstruction. Seems assassination pays pretty well.

As for the war at hand, offering someone 93% of their half while refusing to even discuss the right of return or compensation for the houses taken from them is NOT a fair deal. Yet, that was the best deal offered. It would've meant a Paletinian homeland divided by walls, protected roadways, and checkpoints. And everyone knows movement between the Palestinian areas is forever limited by Israeli security concerns.

But Israel refuses to go back to it's pre-1967 borders. They'er so stubbornly against it that Saudi Arabia got the entire Arab world to agree to recognize Israel's right to exist if they'd just go back to those borders, and they won't. There'd be peace if they did, but they won't.

The Israeli position that "right of return" would mean the "end of Israel" could be resolved by simply paying the Palestinians for the houses and land Jews took from them! It's not like Israel can't afford it. This was a compromise the Palestinians were willing to entertain, but Israel simply won't discuss it. Israeli hardliners, emboldened by U.S. neocon warprofiteers, have no plans to work out a fair deal. They want complete victory over Canaan yet again.

It's an often repeated Jewish mantra that "The fighting will stop when Arab mothers love their children more than they hate Israel." This grossly misleading catchphrase sickens me. It smacks of such moral superiority, as if the true cause of the Arab-Israeli conflict is uncaring Arab mothers. Such salt in the wounds of women who are suffering so horribly under such merciless bombardment and strife.

Much of the world sees the double standard of the greater value of Israeli lives - and the lopsided casualty ratio - which only serves to inflame anger towards Jews around the world. If Jewish behavior (a flurry of prominent Jews demanding the blacklisting of Mel Gibson over a drunken rant while Beirut burned, for instance) doesn't change, anti-Semitism won't go away.

You can't just move into someone's neighborhood and say "I think we'll take the coast, why don't y'all move back behind the Jordan river. Your holy city, well, we'll take that as well, didn't think we'd share it, didja? It's our holy city, and we're more important than you."

It must be recognized that the Palestinian people have legitimate anger over the way they've been treated. The results of relocating Jews to their biblical homeland after the holocaust must be examined with a critical eye focused on the truth of the matter if we're to ever move towards peace in the region. Jerusalem must become an international city. A three member governing body: one Christian, one Jew, and one Muslim, could govern Jerusalem, if it was done right. If it was done FAIRLY.

Ok, now perhaps my optimism runneth over...

"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." - John Lennon

Corporate oil criminals, soulless traitors of the public trust:

"Look what ExxonMobil is doing with its huge profits and margins... Hersh points out that the Joint Chiefs of Staff - a panel of the highest-ranking military officials from each branch of the U.S. armed services - are strenuously opposed to the plan, so much so that some have threatened to resign if it goes forward:

[A] Pentagon adviser on the war on terror.confirmed that some senior officers and officials were considering resigning over the issue. "There are very strong sentiments within the military against brandishing nuclear weapons against other countries," the adviser told me. "This goes to high levels." The matter may soon reach a decisive point, he said, because the Joint Chiefs had agreed to give President Bush a formal recommendation stating that they are strongly opposed to considering the nuclear option for Iran. "The internal debate on this has hardened in recent weeks," the adviser said. "And, if senior Pentagon officers express their opposition to the use of offensive nuclear weapons, then it will never happen."But such advice hasn't fazed the ultra-hawkish members of Congress, who now refuse to accept any plan that doesn't include the use of nuclear weapons: A senior member of the House Appropriations Committee.said that no one in the meetings "is really objecting" to the talk of war. "The people they're briefing are the same ones who led the charge on Iraq. At most, questions are raised: How are you going to hit all the sites at once? How are you going to get deep enough?" (Iran is building facilities underground.) "There's no pressure from Congress" not to take military action, the House member added. "The only political pressure is from the guys who want to do it." .

"These politicians don't have a clue, and whenever anybody tries to get it out"-remove the nuclear option-"they're shouted down."While senior military officials oppose the use of nuclear weapons, Hersh's sources add that the idea "has gained support from the Defense Science Board, an advisory panel whose members are selected by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld."

http://tinyurl.com/k3s8h

watch the video at
http://thinkprogress.org/2006/04/09/hersh-military/

doubt in the doubting
~

whoa nelly, the catholics are nervous. one and a half millennia of lies are about to be exposed and - gasp! - questioned, under the bright hot lights of a film EVENT that will shake the very foundation of the planet's dominant religion, a mighty rumble in the zeitgeist...

so, the celibate liekeepers plan a counterattack:

"While we recognize the right to present a good yarn, we're concerned the mix of fact and fiction is sure to lead many to question the Bible's integrity, its message, and Christianity's impact on history," says William Edgar, a professor of apologetics at WTS. type='text'>

msg is everywhere now, and it's a nasty toxin.

i had to return a box of friggin' triscuits a few months ago, one of the new flavored varieties, because when i got home i noticed msg in the ingredients... unreal. you find it throughout fast food, although i don't think at del taco, they don't have the exploding flavor of mcd's, taco smell, burger queen, etc.... and a big fat chicken taco, 99cent green burrito without cheese and macho ff doesn't give me the headache and queezy buzz that an order of mcdonald's chicken tenders does.

i bought a very insightful documentary about the poison aspartame a while ago, and it goes into the similar effects of msg... they showed scans of mousebrains, detailing the difference in development between msg fed mice and non-msg fed mice: the msg micebrains were holy as all getup, and i don't mean blessed by the pope. research has shown that msg, as destructive as it is for adults, is far worse on developing systems.

the fact that kids today eat so much food laced with the stuff is literally criminal.

turns out a direct side effect on an unregulated free market is that souless corporations can directly poison the population in the name of better tasting product and therefore higher sales. poison the population with impunity, i might add, completely unquestioned by anyone in the mainstream media...

http://tinyurl.com/ewzdw

editing the passion out of applause...

i happened to see the 3am cnn newscast the morning after ms. king's funeral. the crowd response to both jimmy carter and the reverend who lambasted bush was uproarious, sustained, thunderous, show stopping ovations!

by 5 am, pacific standard time, the applause had been neutered, edited to a fadeout whisper, and the missing time was replaced by talking heads (who weren't there) questioning the 'appropriateness' of the remarks which had brought the room to its feet.

talk about truth to power though, before the editors diminished the significance... how often does the historically sheltered bush have to sit in a room and hear people telling him how they really feel? it was a historic moment, and fox did such a sneaky edit that one of their commentators mistook it for reality: <a great tribute and glory, commemorating the life of a great person, which was completely hijacked as a political issue by conservative talking heads telling lies and passing fraudulent partisan judgment on an event they didn't attend, claiming to defend the honor of a hero they hated.

dispicable

i heard one analyst say that if kerry/kennedy had tried their filibuster a few weeks ago, when many senators were still up in the air, it might've actually gained traction. not a good plan to throw together a slapdash filibuster at the last minute, after 60+ votes had clearly lined up behind alito's nomination.

the dems straight chickened out of making the discussion about what it truly is about: a woman's right to choose. it seems the dem strategy in a nutshell was to try and get alito to say something so outrageous they could sink him. being a smart guy, alito and his rovian handlers made sure that he never actually said outloud what his mother had remarked so elegantly earlier: "OF COURSE he's against abortion!"

my favorite part was the polling done that showed a fairly even split of americans leaning slightly towards wanting him confirmed.... but nearly 2/3 of people saying they didn't want him confirmed if he would overturn roe v. wade!!!! now, seeing as he WILL be the deciding vote to outlaw abortion, why did the democrats somehow refrain from mentioning this fact during the hearings? pathetic.

it is interesting to note that five creepy catholic men will now set about outlawing abortion. there's something just not right about creepy catholic men who want more unwanted children in the world. i remember at the signing ceremony for the partial birth abortion law, bush didn't hand so much as a single pen to a woman. he was surrounded by a gaggle of graying old coots.

no nukes or oil
~

ronald reagan, in all his smug glory, gutted the budget for project independence, america's plan to wean us from oil. he eliminated 90% of it's budget, then said: make do with the tenth you have left, we're gonna use the cash to subsidize oil and coal and natural gas, because our buddies make a kings ransom in pollutin' fuels, don't ya' know, and we work for them.

imagine what kind of effect a tenfold INCREASE in r&d subsidies for, among other things, solar power through the 80's might've had on our energy situation today? but no, we went the other way...

it's a true shame. imagine where we'd be...

picture it: mirrors, steam and turbines in the desert. semi-circular arrays of mirrors aiming sunlight into a tower, where the beam is maneuvered with mirrors to heat a reservoir of water into steam, which turns a turbine = reliable electricity without any emissions.

they exist: <a them.

the truth is, this "war" we find ourselves in is a direct result of reagan's 'revolution'. they set this up. they knew the soviet union was collapsing, and sure, it might have happened a few years earlier if reagan hadn't emboldened russian harliners with his saber rattling star wars rhetoric, but that's another thread for another day... neocons knew we'd need a new enemy soon. why do you think we made sure saddam fought iran for 8 years before we took him on?

if america could take care of the majority of her energy needs internally, what would we need war for?

and don't talk to me about nuclear power...

the links below should put an end to the debate about nuclear power. this article should win a pulitzer prize, it literally puts the argument to rest, exposing, among other things, that if you dig deep enough into the 'environmentalists' who've come out for nuclear power, you'll find radioactive money lurking in their pockets.

well worth the read:

part one:

my balls and all they've been through.

my sarongs have no pockets. unless i know i'm going to be securely attached to my backpack, i have to wear a shirt with pockets, preferably two. i've thought about sewing pockets into the sarongs, and in fact i bought enough material in my last foray into the garment district to do so... alas i lack sewing equipment and wherewithal. i'm thinking of a nice sized pouch with velcro closure though. i go beltless as well, the main point for me is the flexibility of being able to adjust the tension as needed. if it falls off in a fight, well the sight of my nuts might just unnerve my opponent enough to throw the bout to the naked guy.

they hang low, 8 years sans underwear, and a tighty wighty-centric opponent might just be shocked into bolting. oh, my balls and what they've been through. where to begin... as you can see in this picture: http://www.mindswell.org/portraitoftheartist.htm , my left side was a bit deformed growing up. while it might be tempting to suggest that the right arm looks significantly bigger than the left merely due to it being closer to the camera, realize that the reason my right hand is in the shot at all is because the photographer staged us, and had me hold the piece of paper in my left hand. the single piece of paper was too heavy, too uncomfortable for me to hold out at that angle, so my right hand came in to help hold up my left. this is part of my scoliotic condition.

this is gross, so read on only if you are not easly gorssed out... the cording that allows sperm their short sweet journey from factory to cannon got all tangled in my nutsack. i had an extra large bunch of cording in my left teste. the medical term for this is: vericocile. when diagnosed in early childhood, the doctor said there was no real reason to do surgery unless it became a problem. in the early 90's, it became a problem. i was working as a clerk in a grocery store, and was dating a skanky boxgirl for a few weeks before easter. one night i had the whole house to myself, and she came over. we ended up in the bedroom and i soon came to realize that as much as i love pussy, there was no way i was going down on her.

it was like a tijuana fish market down there, i tell you what. she did, however, give me a blowjob. a few weeks later, on the night before easter, i was in the milkbox at lucky's (remember lucky's? the low price leader!) and the place was trashed, much work to do, and i was flying... stocking gallon after gallon furiously trying to get caught up, and then my left nut said OUCH!!! i had to sit down on the cold floor and yell for someone to get the manager. it was some serious fucking pain. the company's workman's comp doc said i had a nut infection, and prescribed some antibiotics.

the pain wouldn't go away, however, and i eventually needed surgery to shorten my extra leftside tubing. i don't know if the skankho gave me an infection which triggered the painful incident or if it was just a coincidence, but every good nut surgery story needs a blowjob scene, so there ya go. i guess the moral of the story is that if the pussy stinks, you might want to skip the blowjob, just to be on the safe side.

as for my earlier diagnosis, a competent, intelligent doctor might've realized the extent of my deformity and treated it appropriately. unfortunately, my pediatrician was far more concerned that my feet 'turned out' too much, and sent me to a podiatrist. ignoring the fact that the turnout was a SYMPTOM of the larger curved spine/malformed left side. i was fitted with 'special' shoes to make my feet turn out less. of course, the feet turned that way to support my crooked frame, and the corrective shoes caused more problems than they solved. all my memories of the podiatrist's office are dark and foreboding. my left foot is forever twisted and my spine grew into a curve, causing me daily pain.

and that's why i wear a sarong.

NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND
~

under the city, we're all a bit weary. every backpack and briefcase is a potential bomb, every person a potential bomber. i'm still a starving artist, i don't have a car, which has allowed me opportunity to spend some quality time underneath the metropolis of the city of angels. on days when newscasts spout simultaneous tales of terror, everyone underground is thinking the very same thing. some wear their fear visibly, some stow it away, but it's there. we deal with it. on days like that, there's always a small sense of relief stepping off the escalator at street level.
being above ground just feels safer.

until, of course, someone does something peculiar.

a few days after nearly simultaneous bus and train bombings rocked london, i was sitting in the center backseat of a mostly full 720 bus in afternoon traffic on wilshire boulevard when a heavyset 40-something guy with a beard and a backpack got on, walked all the way to the second-to-last row, set his backpack down, turned around, and began walking towards the front of the bus.

what the fuck? could this be it? could this really be happening? i looked around quickly. my fellow backseatmates were no help at all. headphone listening, window gazing, nose picking, nobody noticed. my first instinct was to immediately jettison the backpack out the window if it would fit, out an emergency exit otherwise. then i realized the guy might just be asking the driver a question. what if he wasn't? the open vent windows were too small for the potentially explosive backpack to fit through. i looked up. an escape hatch! no good, hinged on opposing sides to pop up vertically for ventilation. pulling the release lever would require being able to reach it, there was no way to just throw the backpack through. the hatch is designed for passenger escape if the bus rolls over on its side, evidently a major concern when the bus was designed.

oh, how times have changed. he was nearly to the front of the bus and i knew that if he jumped off, i'd have to act quickly. i thought about consequences outside the bus if i threw a bomb out the window. i thought about the casualties. i decided the very act of throwing the backpack out the window and screaming "BOMB!" would cause people on the street to run for cover. on the bus there is no cover, so at least people outside have a chance. i looked around for an emergency release window, and took note of which kind it was (there are different designs for different styles of bus). every muscle in my body tensed as i focused on his body language upon reaching the driver. if he'd so much as turned towards the door his backpack would've been on the sidewalk to meet him, but he leaned in and talked to the driver instead. when he turned and started walking back towards his backpack and me, two entities in the back of the bus who'd nearly entangled in a grotesque tango, i exhaled. when he reached his backpack i explained to him how close i'd come to throwing it out the window. he looked perplexed. "i was just asking the driver if this bus goes all the way downtown," he told me. "next time, maybe take your pack with you," i suggested, as i turned to join the window gazers for the long ride home.

s

when on hannity, do as hannity does - make shit up:
http://www.tampatrib.com/FloridaMetro/MGBY1483XBE.html

these people really do create their own reality as they go along! truth is irrelivant to them, becoming something of muse for their evil, inspiring their creative manipulations... lying is a form of creativity to them, it gives them a sense of power over a situation, they just alter situations to fit their needs! and they surround themselves with likeminded dittoheads who nod emphatically, happy to be along for the ride...

s
